Loader Operator was loading sand out of bank. Accord to supervisor, EE created an unsafe condition undermining the bank, backing out, the sand came down and into the windshield. At 11:45, EE was out of the loader assisted by others. EE's hands were cut from the windshield, & EE was taken to occup. physician, where the wounds were cleaned, antibiotics prescribed, & released.

Showing all 2Employee was removing bolts off the cutting edge of a loader. Was removing bolt and it slipped from hand and sharp edges cut low on thumb of left hand. Employee reported the injury. Due to the deep cut employee was sent to the ER not occupational physician. The cut was cleaned and they received seven stiches. No work restrictions and no lost days.
