Showing all 5After dismounting the plant, the injured turned to walk and his knee popped and caused him to fall to the ground. Injured thought his knee would be o.k. and worked the rest of the day. That night, his knee swelled and he went to the doctor. Injury caused a strain to the employee's knee.
Operator was backing down ramp toget load of water with half of load water on. Trans converter failed truck was free wheeling using brakes lightly or feathering, and turned into high wall, water sloshed to low side turned over. Driver had seat belt on.
Employee was using wedge to clear rocks hung up in jaw. Took safety glasses off to see down in jaw. Broke rock loose and wedge went down past jaw bottom. Had installed new toggle plate. Had closed gap on jaw. Struck wedge chipped off metal and cut beside right eye.
Stopped to tire boot strings, put foot on truck bumper, leaned over achilles tendon sanpped left foot.
