EE was putting blocking under a boulder to level it when the boulder shifted, smashing EE's right hand between the blocking and the boulder. The accident resulted in EE needing surgery on EE's right thumb. EE was discharged that same day and is following the doctor's orders and awaiting medical release.

While stacking flagstone on a pallet miner smashed finger.
Two employees were moving a metal plate. Injured employee stepped in to stabilize and over-exerted, pulling the plate onto their leg.
Lifting stone and putting/stacking stone on pallet. Individual was working next to a recut saw which uses water and the area was wet.
Employee was operating dump truck on unlevel terrain, while dumping load, truck began to rock and the truck tipped over. Employee failed to position vehicle on level ground. Employee injured leg and ribs.
Miner was in the process of splitting stone to appropriate thickness when he slipped on small debris (debris occurs in the process of splitting).
Was asked to empty 5 gal. bucket into burn barrel. It backlashed and burnt left hand and left side of face. Received 1st aid treatment and was taken to Hospital for treatment on left hand.
Employee was stacking a pallet of 4 inch autumn gold patio rock when a chip flew into his left eye.
While splitting a rock with a 12 pound sledge hammer a chip came off the rock and struck ee on the mouth splitting his lower lip requiring 5 stitches to fix.
WHILE NAILING BOARD TO FINISH PALLETIZING ROCK, ROCK SHIFTED AND FELL ON EMPLOYEE KNOCKING HIM OVER AND ROCK FELL ON HIS FOOT, CRUSHING HIS SECOND TOE ON HIS LEFT FOOT.
WHILE PALLETIZING ROCK, CROSSBOARD BROKE AT JOINT ALLOWING ROCK TO FALL ON RT. FOOT. EMPLOYEE DID NOT FEEL IT WAS HURT BAD ENOUGH TO GO TO THE DR. UNTIL 9/05/05. THE DR. X-RAYED HIS ANKLE & FOUND THE BONE ON THE ANKLE WAS FRACTURED. THEY PUT HIS FOOT IN A BOOT & TOLD HIM TO WORK MODIFIED DUTY.
WHEN PALLETIZING ROCK, THE ROCK SLIPPED & STRUCK HIS FOREARM WITH THE EDGE OF THE ROCK, RESULTING IN A CUT ON HIS FOREARM REQUIRING 5 STITCHES.
EE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING O RING ON KOMATSU EXCAVATOR. AS BOLTS WERE REMOVED, HYDRAULIC OIL SHOT OUT OF O RING BLOCK, HITTING HIM IN THE FACE AND EYES. NOTE: EXCAVATOR HAD NOT BEEN RUNNING, SO OIL WAS COLD.
EE HIT HAND WITH HIS OWN HAMMER, FLUNKED POST ACCIDENT DRUG TEST
EMPLOYEE WORKING WITH GILLATEEN HAD TOO MANY SLABS OF ROCK ON ROLLER TABLE, ONE ROCK PUSHED A CENTER ROCK OFF ON EMPLOYEE'S FOOT, BREAKING ALL FIVE BONES IN FOOT.
HE WAS RESTACKING A 1" PTIO PALLET, GRABBED A ROCK IT SLID OUT OF HIS HAND AND CUT OPEN HIS RIGHT RING FINGER AND PINKY.
WHILE CHAINING PALLETS OF STONE ON FLATBED TRUCK, A PIECE OF STONE FELL AND STRUCK DRIVER ON HEAD, CAUSING A BUMP ON THE HEAD.
