Showing all 4employee was walking across yard toward coffee break and stepped on golf ball sized rock, rolling and injuring tendons in his ankle.
Employee was working the stone processor and got left ring finger caught between safety guard and a stone. Finger nearly amputated. Middle phalange fractured and dislocated. At this time it is expected that he will not lose the finger.
EMPLOYEE MOVED LARGE STONES BY HAND WITHOUT ASKING CO-WORKERS FOR HELP. DEVELOPED GROIN PAIN & HE REPORTED THE INCIDENT TO HIS SUPERVISOR & WENT HOME. DR. DIAGNOSED EPIDIDIMITIS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN AGGRAVATED BY LIFTING. RETURNED TO WORK 9/15/04 AFTER COMPLETING ANTIBIOTICS & EE WAS ON LIGHT DUTY FOR 2 WEEKS.
