Employee was using an 8-10 lbs. hammer to assist with the removal of a tooth off a loader bucket. A piece of the tooth broke off, roughly 2-3 mm in size, and struck the employee on the back lower side of EE's right leg.

Showing all 3On October 31, 2024, at approximately 2:25 PM miners were positioning a new conveyor on site, two welds on the conveyor snapped and the conveyor folded contacting a miner as EE was in position to put the locking pins in place.
The worker was helping change a roller on the crusher when the roller slipped a tang on the roller caught worker's hand causing a laceration.
