Rock (2'wide x 2-3" thick) fell from top between bolts and struck employee on left shoulder.
Rock picking and shoveling belt. Complained of abdominal pain and upset stomach. Walked into mine office to see MET, sat down in chair, and fell over. Alleged Miocardial Infarction (Heart Attack). No sign of a work related accident. This report is informative only due to it occuring on mine property.
Rock fell from roof and landed on upper back (4' x 4' x 2' thick). Employee struck head on rock on ground.
After 9 days of rain & 5.75" of rain on Saturday May 9, 2009 and upon further exploration of the mine. Water had entered the mine filling a low area and some of the face area. The water traveled by the face by penetrating some stoppings and traveled the low area of the mine. The mine was not working due to area flooding.
Took hose off scoop jack and scoop fell on right foot. No lost time. Placed in cast on 10-30-08.
Emptying dust box and drill cable caught left foot, twisting left knee (drill being operated by a co-worker).
