A security employee was exiting an office trailer at the mine site of Lehigh Natural Resources water impoundment location when he rolled his ankle on the last step of the stairs, the employee was driven to Saint Lukes Hosptial,Coaldale,P.A. where he was attended to by an E.R. doctor who made a visual exam & ordered x-rays & determined he had a minor sprained ankle

Showing all 6Employee was performing maintenance near the silo at the area known as Rt. 309 Water Treatment. Employee went to step with his right foot near the edge of the water discharge stream and his right foot sunk in causing employee to lose his balance and fall to his knee(s). Employee's 17" muck boots filled with treated lime water causing burns on his feet.
Individual was operating an ATV on mine property and unfamiliar with terrain, lost control and wrecked sustaining an injury to his right leg.
Employee was waiting for a ride at the main entrance to the mine after completing his shift and all of a sudden fell forward to the ground into a seizure. Called 911 and EMT's responded to gate and transported employee to hospital for further evaluation.
Employee was pulling to remove steel chain off of 6" plastic pipe and struck the underside of the SkidSteer steel bucket with left hand, causing laceration to left pinkey finger, just below the knuckle.
Male individual was tresspassing on mine property and wrecked his ATV. Person suffered broken collarbone, broken shoulder and broken ribs.
