Miner was replacing drill bit on production drill when a metal piece chipped off a hammer they were using. The miner was treated with first aid. Later miner decided to have the metal flake removed from their leg and underwent removal procedure on 08/04/2025.This is being reported as a removal of the object.

Employee was cutting a stringer off a conveyor belt and was cutting towards self and the knife slipped and went into left forearm causing a 1 1/2 inch cut about 1 inch deep causing about 6 stitches.
