EE was using a 9"grinder to remove some old welds from the dryer. EE was tied off and sitting on the dryer while grinding. EE started to slip so EE reached back to grab the safety line to regain balance causing the grinder to strike EE's knee. EE received 10 stitches to the right knee and was given a post-accident drug screen.

Showing all 5Contracted floor hand had laceration to fingers from auger at dry plant. Employee was taken to local hospital where they received stitches in fingers.
Employee was using a knife to cut and repair a conveyor belt when the knife slipped and cut EE on the forearm. Brought employee to medical facility to get 7 stitches in forearm. EE was released back to full duty the same day.
One of our safety rack techs fell off a tanker truck. The driver of the truck drove off before our EE could get off the top. EE was taken to the hospital for evaluation but had no major injuries. EE is very sore and bruised up.
The dredge operator was transferring from the Jon boat to the dredge. When EE stepped from the Jon boat to the step on the side of the dredge, EE lost footing due to heavy dew on the dredge. EE slipped and landed on the dredge landing on ribs. The slip caused 3 broken ribs to the operator. This accident was not caused by lack of training or lack of following regulations.
