OPERATOR WAS PICKING UP A PIECE OF CHANNEL IRON WHEN IT HIT ANOTHER LENGTH OF CHANNEL IRON FREE STANDING THUS CAUSING IT TO FALL. THE HARD HAT BEING WORN FELL OFF DURING THE PICKING UP OF THE FIRST CHANNEL IRON. WHEN THE SECOND CHANNEL IRON FELL IT HIT HIM ON THE HEAD AND BACK CAUSING A SCALP FRATURE AND LACERATION AND A FRACTURED SCAPULA.
