THE MECHANIC WAS REMOVING A PIN FROM A LOADER BUCKET WITH A LARGE PRY BAR AND A SLEDGEHAMMER. THE PIN BROKE FREE UNEXPECTEDLY, CAUSING THE BAR TO STRIKE THE MECHANIC ON THE SIDE OF HIS FACE. T HE ONE INCH CUT ON HIS FACE REQUIRED 12 STITCHES AND A HEAD X-RAY WAS TAKEN.
