THE 1500 AUGER CREW WERE PULLING OUT OF A SHORT HOLE. THE SWINGMAN WAS STACKING BITS AFTER THEY ARE PULLED OUT OF THE HOLE. THE SWING MAN STATED THAT HE WAS PUTITNG ONE ON TOP & THE SWITCH ON THE HAND SET STUCK IN LOWERING POSITION CAUSING THE BIT TO FALL OFF OF THE PILE AND STRIKING HIS ANKLE & BREAKING IT.
