EMPLOYEE WAS BITTEN BY A SPIDER WHILE PERFORMING HIS DUTIES AS A DECKHAND ON THE TOW-BOAT BUT THOUGHT IT WAS NOTHING TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT BECAUSE THERE WAS NO REACT ION TO THE BITE AT THE TIME. THE BITE DIDN'T GIVE ANY PROBLEMS UNTIL 12/7/94 WHEN IT BECAME INFECTED, AT THIS TIME HE WENT TO THE DOCTOR & WAS TREATED & GIVEN A PRESCRIPTION.
