Employee was replacing shield on a cutter head when he dropped the shield & injured his left hand.
Employee was loosening a bolt on the highwall miner when his wrench slipped, striking him in the mouth. This resulted in chipping one tooth and breaking another tooth. The broken tooth required extraction by a dentist.
Employee was removing bits from the head of the highwall miner. When his hammer struck the bit removal tool, a piece of metal flew from the tool & struck his left hand.
