Struck tooth on loader bucket with hammer while attempting to remove. A piece broke off striking the thigh

Employee, blaster, was dewatering blast holes, when he went to lower the dewatering pump into a blast hole a worn spot on the dewatering hose showing metal cords caught his middle right hand finger. He tore the skin in a v shape 1/2"" by 1/2"". Employee was sent to the clinic and had 5 stitches to close up the wound.
