EE was found face down with a rock on his shoulder. He was carried to the surface and transported to Raleigh Gen Hospital by ambulance. Released at approx 4:00AM
EE was lowering ATRS on roof bolter when a 3' X 3' X 2" piece of roof rock hit him on head and arm. This report is being generated under protest to terminate citation #9006069.
Injured was setting the breaker for the feeder at the section power center after a belt move. The breaker blew up when he attempted to set it and knocked him against the rib. There was no apparent injury at the time of the incident. Approx. 2 days later, he noticed that the hearing in his left ear was deteriorating. Dr told him that his hearing loss may be related to the accident.

Man trip traveling to surface. Individual was riding in the back of the man trip. Just as the man trip went under overcast, he was distracted by putting his glasses on. He struck his head on the overcast, fell backward and hit his head on the man trip.
