Over-exertion in lifting objects

While using a 2"" water hose to remove sand accumulations under the transfer conveyer, employee apparently suffered an abdominal hernia.

Struck against a moving object

Employee was backed up to a dump area with a load of lime. When the haul box was raised to dump, the truck lifted to the left and went over on its side.

While doing routine maintenance around the plant prior to going home for the weekend, the employee had dust blown in his eye by a gust of wind. Employee was wearing safety glasses.
