An employee was stuck on the Cameron elevator when the encoder switch for the elevator failed. The elevator encoder was repaired and the employee was returned to the surface safely. EE was on the elevator for approximately 4 hours before the repair was completed.

Miner was injured on 6/17/17. EE returned to work on 8/21/17. EE began missing work again on 5/8/18 for what ee said was a reoccurrence of the same injury. EE stated that no accident had occurred. EE returned to work 5/21/18 missing 9 more days. No injury report was filed as ee stated it was the same injury.
After EE's shift, the employee complained of pain in EE's left groin area. No specific time of incident but the employee was unloading 45 pound bags of cement during the shift. The employee is off pending further medical evaluation for a possible hernia.
