Showing all 8Dewatering Screens went down, we had to shovel off dewatering screens, belts, troughs etc. Could feel my arm shoulder and back getting sore but kept shoveling just took breaks in between. The pain and tightness continued to get worse days after. Finally I got to the point I couldn't move my neck felt like a really bad pinched nerve. Made Dr. Appt. Nov 2, 2022.
Plant is under construction to upgrade. While putting new belt on bucket elevator, employee assisted mill wright on pulling belt and got finger tips caught in the head pulley. This resulted in EE losing the tips of 2 fingers.
Individual was in man lift with harness on and tied off was loading totes of collector in main tank. When reaching through hand rail on man lift EE felt a pop in left bicep/Shoulder. Individual went to the Doctor this morning and was diagnosed with most likely a pulled bicep tendon. 1 week of rest with pain meds if pain persists after 1 week than X-Rays and further Diagnoses.
Adjusting seat in the loader.
After greasing, employee turned to walk down the cat walk & received a minor cut on the finger. The transfer belt is a fully enclosed structure and employee says they cut it on the outside of the housing. They went to hospital & received 2 stitches, was discharged and returned to finish the shift
The individual was shoveling sand when EE felt something in EE's bicep and shoulder area. EE worked on 10/12 day shift called in after the shift said EE would not be in on 10/13 for work. EE was going to the doctor.
Employee was lifting and moving rolls of drainboard for application to the new Truck Dump wall. As employee lifted one (approx. 53 lbs.), felt a pull/tear in right arm.
