While welding, a shop fan was re-positioned blowing dust in the victim's eye. The following morning, victim was in discomfort and was treated by a physician to remove a piece of rust and was issued a prescription eye drop.

Employee was washing under the supports under the KVS scrubber. Employee discovered a hole through his right boot. Puddle water got in his boot and contacted the top part of his right foot. He noticed irritation a few minutes later.

Employee was helping with kiln brick removal and in the process got lime dust in his left eye. He was wearing company supplied safety glasses at the time of the incident. He tried to flush out his eye repeatedly while still at work and afterward. His eye was still irritated several days later when he was take to the doctor and given a prescription for eye drops.

Lime dust accumulated in the bend of his right arm while cleaning in penthouse. The lime activated with sweat and caused burns. The injury became infected and employee went to the doctor on 11/17/05.
