EE was roof bolting. The glove on his left hand got caught in the chuck/drill pot. This cut his little finger (7 stitches) and fractured three fingers (little, ring, middle) on his left hand.

Showing all 5Co-worker was operating the crane, to lift a 12x20 metal building, and set it in place. While employee was holding and steadying the building as it was being lowered, the building swung around and mashed/cut ring finger on left hand on leg of crane. 13 stitches.
EE was putting last row of bolts (entry #5). He was working the levers with his right hand. He had his left hand on the drill pot. His middle finger on his left hand got pinched/cut. The tip of the finger - required 10 stitches and bone broken.
Injured employee and another miner were using a hydraulic drill drilling holes in the mine floor. The bit hung and the drill twisted, causing the metal handle to strike the inside of his left knee. Soreness, bruising and swelling, no broken bones.
The cont miner operator was backing the miner. Inj EE was in front of the miner, moving the cable. He slipped & he caught himself by grabbing the cutter head with his right hand. His right hand got mashed between cutter head & mine roof. Broke his little finger.
