Employee was moving miner out of #2 entry on #1 unit. He thought he had turned the miner off but as he reached down to pick up a rope to hang on miner tail the miner moved causing his head to be caught between the tail of the miner and the coal rib.

The ee was operating the cont miner and backed miner up after cutting right side of face and he split the cats on the miner to move it toward left side of face. The right rear corner of the miner mashed the ee against the rib.
INJURED PARTY HAD JUST PUT UP HIS 1ST BOLT IN THE ENTRY. WHEN HE STARTED TO SWING HIS BOOM, HE PULLED THE LEVER THE WRONG WAY, STRIKING HIS RIGHT KNEE.
INJURED PARTY HAD A PIECE OF ROCK TO STRIKE HIM ON HIS SHOULDER & PULL A MUSCLE IN HIS BACK. *REASON FOR NO LOSS WORK DAYS, MINE WENT ON THANKSGIVING VACATION.
INJURED PARTY WAS HELPING ROOF BOLTER OPERATOR MOVE FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER WHEN HE RAN IN FRONT OF THE BOLTER AND MOVED A CABLE. HE THOUGHT HE HAD GOT OUT OF THE WAY. ROOF BOLTER OPERATOR S TRUCK THE RIB WITH THE ROOF BOLTER STRIKING THE INJURED PARTY ON HIS RIGHT KNEE.
INJURED PARTY HAD JUST PUT IN HIS 2ND DAY OF WORK RUNNING ROOF BOLTER WHEN ON HIS WAY HOM FROM WORK HE FELT A PAINT IN HIS RIGHT KNEE. HE SAID THIS PAIN GOT WORSE AS THE DAY WENT BY. HIS SHIFT WAS FROM 0700 TO 1500. HE SAID HE DID NOT RECALL HURTING HIS RIGHT KNEE AT WORK.
