While staging a Cab Stand Platform for installation on a new dredge, a crane was booming down with two chains hooked up and two that were free. The injured employee was stepping up onto the stand to hook up the two free chains when they unexpectedly swung and struck them on the left side of hard hat. EE was temporarily dazed and proceeded to stumble.

Showing all 6Two employees were replacing tires on boom truck. Injured employee was holding a wrench while co-worker was operating the impact wrench. His finger got smashed between the wrench and the wheel, resulting in a fracture of the fifth digit on the left hand.
EE was grinding on the #14 conveyor frame when a piece of steel flew off & entered his eye. At the time he thought he just got some dust in his eye & cont. to finish the work day. He worked the entire next day & woke up in the middle of the night w/eye pain. On the 17th he called in & went to the eye dr where they dug a piece of steel out of his eye.
Using power grinder, caught on steel and turned into worker's knee.
