Employee was placing their hard hat on their head. They believed they got bit by ants, however, the swelling got worse and it appears to be more than ant bites. Employee sought medical care where a prescription was provided to treat the skin condition.

EE was asked if they were going to be here all day, they said yes. EE said their back was hurting and wanted to go to the doctor. EE responded verbally and sent an email that it was not a workplace injury and that their back was hurting. EE went to the hospital. EE was released to return immediately to work and has not returned.

There were 3 raccoons sleeping in a hopper, not visible as the hopper is 15ft +/- above the ground. When the machine started, 2 of the raccoons were crushed, however, the 3rd jumped out of the hopper and went down EE's arm, where it injured EE's left hand.

EE was working in a loader and was stung by a bee, which EE is allergic to.

Two men were attempting to move the stacker. They did not follow standard procedure and removed the chock blocks before the loader was there. The wind from Tropical Storm Fay caught the stacker. The men tried to stop the stacker from rolling, but IE slipped and it ran over his right leg crushing it from the knee down. His leg was amputated on 8/25/08 below the knee.
