Employee was guiding an equipment operator relocating the weight and guy wire for a telephone pole. The pole cracked and bees flew out stinging the employee multiple times.

Injured miner received bee stings when a nearby dozer ran over a box containing a bee hive. The hive swarmed around the injured miner and stung EE on head and neck. EE was treated at the company clinic and released to full duty.

Employee complained of angina after shoveling and believed he was experiencing a heart attack. He was taken for med treatment & admitted to hospital. Tests indicated he did not suffer a heart attack. It was described as an "episode" related to childhood heart surgery. Employee related that he has these episodes periodically, not work related. MSHA was notified as a precaution.
