TWO SHUTTLE CARS COLLIDED IN AN INTERSECTION DUE TO A FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE BETWEEN OPERATORS AND THE PRESENCE OF A LINE CURTAIN WHICH HINDERED VISIBILITY. THE BUMPER OF ONE CAR ENTERED THE O PERATORS COMPARTMENT OF THE INJURED MANS CAR, SQUEEZING HIM AND CAUSING A FRACTURE TO HIS PELVIS.

EMPLOYEE WAS OPERATING THE SCOOP WHEN HE BUMPED HIS KNEE AGAINST THE MINE ROOF. HE SUFFERED ONLY A MINOR ABRASION BUT SEVERE SWELLING RESULTED. HE HAD SURGERY ON THIS KNEE IN SEPT. 1988 AND HA S HAD PROBLEMS EVER SINCE.
