An independent contractor was struck, causing an injury to their right leg at the ankle, by a section of the new dust collector duct, while unloading duct sections from the truck bed.
Right Hand punctured with a chain conveyor. The operator wanted to remove a broken bag from the conveyor.
The employee alleges that while unloading material in the hauling truck in the crusher primary area he injured his left leg, left shoulder and left arm and elbow.
The employee was helping another employee installing a belt on the Press. As they started to work on it, the equipment operator activated the conveyor by mistake causing another employee to fall in the conveyor. The employee tried to help his co-worker and he was injured with the conveyor causing him a fracture on his pelvis, back pain and injuries on his legs.
Employee allegedly suffered back pain and claims it is related to his responsibilities as Packaging Operator.
THE EMPLOYEE ALLEDGES THAT WHILE HE WAS REMOVING A STONE STUCK IN THE ROLLER OF THE CONVEYOR BELT, THE STONE FLEW OUT HITTING THE LEFT SIDE OF HIS FACE.
