Employee was attempting to use an overhead crane to straighten a piece of metal on the bed of an overburden truck. When tension was applied to the crane hook it moved and pinched the employees thumb resulting in an injury.

A coal truck operator was waiting to get loaded by a loader. The loader dumped its first bucket into the truck bed which caused the truck operator to get bounced in the seat. Employee was taken in for physician evaluation.
Emp operating a 992 front-end loader was struck from behind by mud chunks which flew out of a sump. A 8750 dragline was filling in the sump located 450 feet away. A chunk flew thru the back window of the loader hit the head rest deflecting the chunk towards the emp's right shoulder/back area. The chunk then flew out the front window. The employee was transported to a hospital.
An employee was operating a scraper when he hit a frozen chunk of dirt and hit his head on the radio bracket above him causing an incision that needed stitches.
