While loosening a fitting using an impact gun, residual hydraulic pressure was released, causing a high-pressure spray of hydraulic fluid to contact the employee's head, arms, chest, and shoulders. Employee experienced tingling and was evaluated in the ER; no serious injury was found.

This miner was found unresponsive in the back of a lube truck. 911 and MSHA were immediately notified. Upon further investigation it turns out this was the result of a non work related medical condition.
EE was thawing a pipe when it released and swung back. The water that came from the pipe knocked EE down. EE braced self with hands upon falling and jolted right shoulder.

An excavator operator was backing up a haul road and repairing the roadway as they traveled. The excavator traveled underneath a 69KV powerline owned by PPL. Unknown to the operator, the powerline arced to the boom of the excavator which cause a brief power interruption. The operator was only made aware of this at 11:30 am when an electrician showed up on site to investigate.
EE was climbing up the excavator for shift when foot/heel slipped on the track causing left knee to twist.
