The employee was not wearing a safety belt and lanyard while removing a screen from a portable screen plant. When the screen became wedged the employee crossed over the safety barrier to pull the screen. As it dislodged the employee lost balance and fell approximately 10" to the ground. The employee sustained a fractured ankle.
