Employee was laying on the ground working on a shuttle car, when a piece of metal fell off the car and struck him across the right forehead above the eye, causing a laceration needing 4 sutures.

He reached down to pull up miner cable and felt a pain in his back. This did not become reportable until 7-29-08.

Hanging a bolter cable, when the operator put the cable reel in the cable hit employee in the mouth resulting in eight sutures.

Putting in belt stands he caught his finger between two sections of belt structure causing a fracture to his finger.
