On 8/1 results communicated to employee, metal was removed, stitches were applied, and prescription was prescribed. Employee was released to full duty with no restrictions and a follow up to remove stitches.

Two employees where installing the master link of the track on a PC400 track hoe. The employee was using a hammer to drive the pin through the track and his left hand hit the idler cover located in the middle of the track. The employee was taken to Sister of Mercy Urgent Care where it was determined that he had a closed fracture of his left little finger.
Employee was cleaning up the tunnel area when a rock fell off the belt. He was using a garden hoe and the rock hit the hoe handle which struck him under the lip/mouth.
