Fabick CAT employee was working in the Cleveland Cliffs Mining Shop. The employee was working on a motor grader cylinder head, installing a fitting. The wrench slipped off and the employee's hand hit a flange, on the cylinder head, causing a small laceration on the top of EE's left hand.

Employee was removing a fire water valve when the employee's left finger was pinched between the valve and the hand railing while lowering the valve with a chain hoist. Employee was transferred to local ED for imaging which revealed nondisplaced fracture to employee's left pinky finger. An employee was ascending a stairwell prior to the start of their shift when the employee experienced a personal medical issue. The employee subsequently tripped and experienced a stair fall impact sustaining injuries to their left upper extremities.
Shovel operator stated jarring their left shoulder while operating the shovel mining out a ramp, and experienced left shoulder pain on 02/19/2025. Employee has a history of left shoulder injury. Employee continued to work full duty until receiving medical treatment for their left shoulder on 10/08/2025.
Caterpillar 988K wheel loader was maintaining a shovel dig site when the left rear corner of the loader was contacted by loose material that fell from the dig face. The loader operator reported neck and back pain from being jostled in the cab. The left rear loader's fender and boarding ladder were damaged. The loader was taken out of service for repairs.
