EMP WA> WELDING A PC OF PIPE WHEN A SPARK BALL ENTERED THE L. EAR. AND THE SPARK BURNED THE EAR DRUM.
THE EMPLOYEE NEEDED SOMETHING HE COULD STAND ON TO BE ABLE TO PERFORM HIS MAINTENANCE WORK EASIER. THERE WAS AN EMPLTY WOODEN CABLE SPOOL CLOSE BY. WHEN THE EMPLOYEE ATTEMPTED TO MOVE THE SP OOL, THAT WAS PARTIALLY IN SAND, HE FELT SOMETHING IN HIS LOWER BACK.
EMPLS WERE UNLOADING 16" STEEL ELBOW & WHEN EMPL WENT TO LIFT ELBOW FROM BED OF PICKUP ELBOW SLIPPED & FLANGE FELL ONTO RIGHT HAND OF EMPL LACERATING RIGHT INDEX FINGER, REQUIRING 5 SUTURES & BRUISES TO MIDDLE FINGER OF RIGHT HAND.
