Over-exertion in lifting objects

Employee strained a muscle in back while lifting a dump rope into place on the dragline bucket. Employee was taken to the company physician for evaluation. The Physician issued the employee prescription medication.

Struck against stationary object

Mechanic suffered a contusion to right shin that required stitches. EE was assisting in the removal of a final drive on a CAT D-11 track dozer at the time of the incident.
