Showing all 25Victim lifted on a belt structure while aligning the belt and felt a pain in his lower back. He missed 3 days work, was on light duty with physical therapy 3 days a week. Employment was terminated prior to doctor's complete release to return to work.
Employee was hauling tires onto job site. While removing binders holding the load, the binder came loose and struck him in the eye.
This victim was liftng a final drive for a scoop into place by himself. This was too much weight for one person ? resulted in a hernia. Was placed on light duty until September 13, 2008, when surgery to repair hernia is scheduled. No work days missed at this time.

This electrician was replacing a guard on the miner after making repairs. While holding the shield in place and getting the bolts started a pain shot through his groin & testicles.
Victim alledgedly was trying to pull a shield off a scoop when he strained his back. A co-worker says the victim told him he was going fishing with a buddy when he left the mine on the 7th. This report if being filed however the status of the "injury" is still in question as to whether it actually happened or not.

Employee RTW 4/19/06. Employee sought medical care on 5/8/06 and now off work due to scheduled hernia surgery on 5/22/06.
Removing and installing segment on D11 Dozer. EE did not miss any work with this injury at first. His back was still bothering him so he went to Dr. on 4/20/06. & Dr. took him off work. EE is currently off work due to injury on 3/10/06.
