WHEN REMOVING METAL BAND FROM ROOF BOLTS THE BAND SPRUNG BACK STRIKING EE ON THE SMALL FINGER, CAUSING A CUT.
INJURED HAD COMPLETED ERECTING AN OMEGA BLOCK STOPPING. AS HE WALKED TOWARD THE MATRIP FOR SHIFT CHANGE HE FELT IRRITATION IN HIS RIGHT EYE. AS TIME PASSED HE HAD TO SEEK MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO HAVE A PIECE OF FIBERGLASS REMOVED FROM HIS EYE. HE HAD RUBBED HIS EYE FREQUENTLY AFTER IT HAD BECOME IRRITATED.
EE WAS CARRYING 50# BAG OF ROCK DUST THROUGH A MANDOOR WHEN HE FELT PAIN IN HIS LOWER BACK. DID NOT BEGIN MISSING WORK UNTIL 3/5/02.
INDIVIDUAL WAS DOING TORCH WORK IN THE BAG OF THE FEEDER. ON TWO OCCASSION SPARKS WENT DOWN HIS CLOTHING CAUSING HIM TO JUMP OR EACH TIME THIS OCCURRED HE STRUCK HIS RT KNEE ON THE FEEDER. THE KNEE BECAME SWOLLEN AND PAINFUL OVER THE NEXT DAY. HE WORKED ON 1-18-02 BEGAN MISSING ON 1-21-02.

INDIVIDUAL HAD PLACED PUSHER STEEL ON FINISHED AND WAS RAISING HEAD UP ONTO STERIS. PUSHER FOUNED IN CHUCK CAUSING STEELS TO FLEX BOW THEN THE PUSHER SPRANG INTO BOTTOM OF THE CHUCK. INDIVIDUA L HAND WAS HOLDING STEEL WHEN IT FLEXED BACK STRAIGHT STIRKING THUMB.
WHILE POSITIONING FEEDER ONTO TAILPIECE, THE FEEDER STRUCK TAILPIECE KNOCKING IT ONTO HIS FOOT.
