Miner was clearing debris build up in bin underneath screening deck. While striking the material with a 5 foot prying bar his index finger got caught on the top of the bar. When his finger got caught it pulled the finger back breaking it past his thumb.

Employee was using a pole to clean out the pug-mill hopper. When the employee thrust the pole into the material, he hit the outside edge of his right hand on the corner of a drive belt guard. This caused a cut in the hand and 7 stitches were required.

Employee was cutting a piece of buckrubbber for VS-2 screen with a lock blade razor knife. The employees left arm was posting down on the rubber and the right hand was holding the knife. As the employee was cutting the rubber, the knife became stuck. The employee pulled back on the knife causing the knife to unhinge, slip from the cutting surface, and cut the left forearm.

Employee was cutting a piece of rubber with a utility knife when the knife slipped and cut the employees leg. First Aid was initially performed on the cut but could not stop the bleeding. Employee received several stitches to close the laceration.

THE INJURY OCCURRED TO A CONTRACTOR EE WHO HAD BEEN HOLDING A STEEL PIN STUB WHILE ANOTHER EE DROVE THE STUB INTO THE GROUND WITH A SLEDGE HAMMER. THE STUB HOLDER THOUGHT THE STUB WAS IN THE GROUND WELL ENOUGH. THE SLEDGE HAMMER USER DID NOT, THE HOLDER PUT HIS HAND ON TOP OF STUB AND OTHER EE WAS SWINGING HITTING THE HAND OF THE HOLDER.
