While operating a Volvo Crawler excavator, worker was jostled and bounced around which resulted in neck and shoulder pain. The doctor advised EE to miss work for the rest of the week.

WHILE OPERATING A POWER HAND DRILL, EMPLOYEE WAS STRUCK WITH FORCE IN THE LEFT SIDE OF EMPLOYEE'S CHEST WITH THE DRILL HANDLE WHEN THE DRILL BIT GOT STUCK IN THE HOLE AND THE DRILL TURNED TOWARD EMPLOYEE. EMPLOYEE RECEIVED A CONTUSION TO THE CHEST WALL.

WHILE USING AN AIR ARC CUTTING TORCH DURING A WELDING OPERATION, WORKER SUSTAINED A BURN IN EAR CANAL WHEN AN AIRBORNE FRAGMENT OR SPARK FLEW INTO EAR. EE'S HEARING BECAME MUFFLED AND WAS SEEN BY AN EAR SPECIALIST WHO DETERMINED THAT AFTER TIME AND PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION, HEARING SHOULD RETURN TO NORMAL.

Worker was using a grinder to prepare metal to be welded when an airborne metal particle flew into his eye and became imbedded. Worker was wearing safety glasses. The particle had to be removed by a doctor.

While removing cutting edge bolts on loader bucket with an air wrench, & while holding wrench on the nut & injured hand on bolt head, the bolt head spun & cut his finger through his glove. Worker went to emergency room & received sutures. Employee was allowed to return to work the next day & did not lose time from work.

Worker was air arcing the inner main frame liner out of the crusher (while wearing a welding mask) when an airborne debris particle flew into his eye. The particle became imbedded and had to be removed by a doctor. The doctor also gave him a prescription.

WHILE WELDING ON A WHEEL LOADER BUCKET, WELDING HELMET DOWN IN WELDING POSITION, A SPARK OR PARTICLE OF SLAG BOUNCED BETWEEN THE HELMET AND EMPLOYEE'S FACE, STRIKING HIM IN THE EYE.
