The miner was grinding a steel plate and a small metal chip got into EE's eye. EE was wearing eye protection.
Mechanic had just completed brake job on company 3/4 ton GM van. He had removed the jack stands from the rear axle. He had the hydraulic jack under the center of the axle. He was lying on a creeper and turned the handle to release the jack. The jack came down fast and the handle smashed his wrist onto the shop floor.
EE was performing repair work on an excavator bucket. The grinder he was operating kicked back and cut his wrist.
