Employee, truck driver, entered EE's dump truck which was still coupled to a tow truck and elevated off the ground. Upon exiting the truck, EE misjudged the distance from the bottom step of the truck to the floor, injured EE's knee, and fell to the ground.

EE's statement has not been taken as of this time, so it is unclear precisely how the injury happened, but, while dumping a hopper of rock, EE somehow put his left hand on the outside of the hopper - perhaps to aid him pulling the level into the open position- and the hopper rolled back and mashed off tip of his left index finger at the base of the nail.
