Miner was standing on the frame rail of a feed hopper approx. 3' off the ground. His feet slipped on the rail and he reached out to grab a cross member to prevent a fall. This resulted in a jarring motion and strain in his left shoulder.

Two employees were dismantling a conveyor belt stand to move portable crusher. The attachment points on the metal foot of the stand were rusted into place. When the foot came loose from the stand it fell on one employee's foot resulting in a fractured bone.

Employee struck the little finger of his left hand with a 2 lb. sledge hammer while trying to adjust position of the cone in the cone crusher. The blow resulted in a laceration that required 3 sutures. He was wearing leather gloves.
