The employee was carrying a Sib cardboard tube from the drying facility over to a shed. This was EE's first actual day on the job after completing EE's MSHA training. EE answered with "it was bad luck." Other employees have stated that EE was complaining about EE's shoulder hurting and having troubles with it before EE began work.

Employee caught his thumb between two pieces of metal. This caused a cut on his thumb. He was taken to the hospital to have it checked out. They did clean it and sterry stitched it together. He was released and returned to work with no exceptions. He returned to work the same day and worked the rest of his shift, 7:00pm quit time.
EE was drilling a hole in the side of a connex box with safety glasses on a believed a piece of metal had gotten under his glasses and in his eye. He was taken to the hospital to have it checked. They did not find anything in his eye but was given some drops for discomfort. He did return to work for the rest of his shift, 3:00 am quit time.
There was a conveyor belt that caught fire and went to the insulation on the roof of the building. The fire flashed from one end of the building and put itself out. This fire lasted about 5-6 minutes. The fire dept. had been called but was not needed. Once the building was cleared of smoke employees went back to work and the building was back in operation.
