Employee was running the miner making the initial cut in #2 to #1 x-cut. A small rock (less than 10 pounds) struck his hat then slid down his face cutting his cheek and lips on the left side of his face. The rock was very sharp. The area was fully roof bolted.

Mostrando los 3EE was positioning the drill station on tram side of bolter when a rock fell from between 2 rows of bolts. His ATRS was set and his canopy was up. He had his left hand on the edge of the drill steel tray when a small rock fell and struck his left hand. He was wearing metacarpal gloves.
Employee installed his 1 & 2 roof bolt on operator side. When he lowered his canopy, he started to clean rock off of it. A small piece of rock fell from the roof and cut his left forearm.
