Mostrando los 11While barring down in the 49-173 heading, loose rock from the back fell out and struck the miner causing lacerations and contusions to the neck, shoulder and left elbow. They received sutures and was placed off work by provider.
While bolting the miner was holding the end of a 6' mat in place while EE's partner was driving the bolt. Rock fell out of the wall and pushed the mat into EE's face causing a laceration on EE's face, EE then fell back and the rock struck EE's lower leg breaking EE's ankle.
