Vibration from blasting in an adjacent area caused rock to fall from rib, an approximately 20-30 lb rock struck employee in the back of the neck. Evaluation revealed only deep bruising. Later evaluation revealed fractured elbow

Incident found in routine audit - Employee was holding the alimak rail so it could be bolted together. A rock fell out of the back striking him behind his leg.

While installing resin cartridges in a bore hole, a slab of rock came loose and struck the employee in the nose. The miners were working from a supported area trying to tie the mats and bolts into the face and back.
