Was getting tool from mechanic truck #826 when left knee according to him made popping sound and became very painful. Could not put his weight on it.

Mostrando los 15Two mechanics were lifting center steering link. One mechanic slipped. As they were both letting go of center steering link, one employee held on too long and "strained" his back. Or appeared to strain his back. According to the witness he let go of steering link first. Mechanic strained back on 2/4/15. Did not notify supervisor until 2/7/15.
Employee was removing steel hydraulic tubes when the injury occurred. He was using a 1/2" hydraulic air gun. He was lifting and twisted the tubes over his head to clear from the work area. He strained his lower back and had to seek treatment. He missed the following day and returned to work on December 5, 2013.
EE had a metal strip dogged down and when he turned around the dog broke loose and hit him in the back. He did not report then. Reported 10/16/13.
Greaser told me he didn't know how or where he hurt his back.
EE had removed tire from truck. The tire started to fall and by reflex the EE tried to catch it. The tire was too heavy and it sprained muscles in his back
He was removing a ball stud and steering jack, when it came loose suddenly it hit him and sprayed oil and dirt into his eyes.
Employee was climbing the ladder on a Cat 777C rock truck. While climbing the ladder, he bumped his foot on the ladder which caused injury to right foot toe joint.
Employee was lifting battery out of battery crate on lower end of maintenance area for grader. Side of crate broke causing employee to fall. He said he bruised his left ankle. He said he was OK and didn't need an EMT or did not need medical attention. I told him we would fill out a report and he said OK.
Employee was installing belly pans on D11R & twisted his leg/knee. He worked from 8/9/06 till his doctor on 8/22/06 advised him to take a week off & rest his knee.
Moving rock truck tires and wheel rings with #703 excavator, while unhooking chain from several wheel rings, one of the wheel rings slipped down and caught left ring finger between tow of the wheel rings.
Putting torque in D-8 dozer & twisted back. He is still working, this was reported to me on 9/26/05.
EE WAS REMOVING SNOW FROM TRUCK BED. TAILGATE OF BED FELL
EE WAS ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL ROCK KNOCKER ON REAR TIRES AND WAS LIFTING THE ROCK KNOCKER TO PIN IT AND IT SLIPPED.
EE WAS ON KNEES INSTALLING FRONT SECTION OF THE OIL PAN ON A 777C WHEN THE LEFT KNEE POPPED AND BEGAN HURTING BEHIND KNEE CAP. EE DID NOT SEEK TREATMENT UNTIL 8/10 & RETURNED TO WORK 8/13.
