EE was removing material from the crusher discharge area and he picked up a large piece of material and attempted to break it by throwing it on the ground. When he went to throw it down he felt his nerve get pinched in his back. He knew exactly what had happened to his back because he has injured his back the same way a couple of other times in the past (prior to GEO).

Mostrando los 6Employee was attempting to install rotor of rotary air lock. The rotor became stuck as he atttempted to insert into valve housing. He attempted to dislodge rotor, causing a sudden release of rotor. Finger was caught between rotor and handrail. Smashed tip of fourth finger on right hand, finger laceration.
Employee was removing trees that had blown over onto a fence.The employees cut the tree at the fence and the blade of the saw became pinched. When the employee pushed on the tree to free the saw, the tree sprung over and hit the employee's right knee and his right foot became trapped. It was determined that the he has suffered a closed fracture of the tibia and a knee sprain.
Employee slipped and fell into water while attempting to place intake hose into mud lake. He strained his back as he pulled himself up the bank of the lake, as the bank was muddy and steep.
Employee was cleaning spillage from crusher operation with a shovel. After approximately twenty minutes of shoveling, a sharp pain shot up his back.
