Probable foreign material in left hand. Treated w/ first aid until 1/23/24, when explored wound site and found nothing. Wound site closed. Reporting out of an abundance of caution.

Plant was replacing an auger that was suspended with rigging straps. The motor and drive were attached, offset and balancing at the 12:00 position. The motor & drive unexpectedly became unbalanced and rolled to the 6:00 position, pinching the employees right hand. Cuts to the index and middle fingers required stitches. Improper rigging allowed the motor and drive to roll.
