Mostrando los 7During normal duties the miner was taking out the trash. He picked up a container of cigarette butts and waste material, when he felt a strain in his lower back.
Miner was changing out the wear plate on an impact curtain. When lifting the new wear plate into place he felt a pain in his left groin. The miner reported the incident to his foreman, it didn't get reported further. On 9/8/15 the miner went to the ER for his injury, and reported his injury to Human Resources. Incident reported to safety on 12/4/15.
EE was performing serving of equipment. While servicing the 235 excavator the EE attempted to close the oil check door, it kicked back open and jammed the EE's left thumb. Injury was not serious, EE chose to wait for medical treatment. On 8/31/11 EE chose to accept medical treatment which then showed a tear in the tendon.
EE was working putting in a differential, after lifting the differential and lining it up, the nut wielded to the differential to stabilize the clevis assembly broke free causing the differential to fall hitting the corner of the pallet below it in return causing it to roll striking ee above the Rt knee. X-rays show no broken bones or limbs. Release the next day.
WHILE HOLDING CVHAIN, WITH METAL WEDGE ATTACHED, CHAIN WAS PULLED FROM HANDS BY A LARGE ROCK IN THE JAW CRUSHER.
WHILE INSTALLING A HYDRAULIC CYLINDER ON A TRUCK/TRAILER. THE CYLINDER SLIPPED CATCHING THE 3RD FINGER ON LEFT HAND BETWEEN THE TWO METAL SURFACES.
